Anthony David Gonzalez (born August 25, 1970) is an American former tight end in the NFL. Gonzalez played in the National Football League from 1997 until 2003. The NFL's most successful tight ends and third-best overall receiver, he's been recognized as the NFL's most effective tight end, in terms of yards received, receptions achieved, and so on.

Since the start of the 2017 NFL season began, Gonzalez is a regular on FOX NFL KICKOFF the FOX's one-hour NFL pregame show that airs prior to FOX NFL Sunday. It airs every Sunday morning at 11:00 am ET throughout the NFL season.
Gonzalez resigned with the Falcons on the 15th of March 2013, for a deal that was worth 14 million dollars over two years. This was regardless of the fact that he had claimed that he was retiring after the season. Randy Moss retiring, Gonzalez's 37th season marked his final as NFL the leading reciever in the NFL.
